Prominent community leader and philanthropist, Prince Michael Ademola Okulaja, is set to be formally installed as the Akeweje Okunrin of Egbe Gbogbaniyi Obinrin Olori Akile Ijebu in a colourful ceremony expected to attract dignitaries, traditional rulers, political associates, and well-wishers from across Ijebuland and beyond.
The installation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Thursday, May 28, 2026, amidst pomp, pageantry, and rich cultural displays. The event is being organised by the Age Grade group of Egbe Gbogbaniyi Obinrin Olori Akile Ijebu in recognition of Prince Okulaja’s unwavering support for community development, humanitarian service, and his commitment to the growth of the association.
The prestigious honour is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the welfare of the people, as well as the promotion of unity, peace, and cultural values within society.
Prince Ademola Okulaja is a man of many parts — a respected leader, accomplished businessman, and influential political figure. Widely regarded as an amiable business tycoon and political trojan, he is also known as a detribalised Nigerian of high repute.
He currently holds the title of Olori Odo of Akile Ijebu and is a graduate of Kwara State Polytechnic. Omooba Okulaja remains a major playmaker in the political landscape of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
